Megan Fields

Megan has been teaching public speaking at the University of Tennessee for 17 years.  She enjoys teaching college aged students about the value of public speaking and how it can be useful in any field into which they may go.  Her connection to Nevus Outreach began around 2000 when she met her first fellow nevus owner at a mall in Memphis, Tennessee. 

Megan was born with a CMN covering her entire back as well as hundreds of satellites. She wishes all contestants good luck and is proud of their bravery for entering this contest!

Steven Bouris

Born with a Nevus on his forehead, Steve spent most of his life suppressing challenges, feeling alone in the world. In 2022, a dear friend encouraged him to open up, marking the beginning of an unexpected transformation. This journey led him to write his autobiography and discover Nevus Outreach. The support from this beautiful community helped Steve find himself and build the confidence to show the world who he truly is.

Steve shared his story as a keynote speaker at the 2024 SHINE Conference & Reunion, aiming to give back and help others find the same freedoms. He is a Trainer and Assessor, Author, Keynote Speaker and Professional Speakers Australia (PSA) member.

Robin Cowper

Robin Cowper, mother to Adult with Nevi Whitney Casal, has been involved with Nevus Outreach since its inaugural conference in 1998. She vividly remembers watching Austin’s mother, Karen Zimmerman, speak at that event, admiring her poise and confidence. Inspired by that moment, Robin sought to improve her own public speaking skills by joining Toastmasters International in 2004.

This 20-year journey has not only enhanced her confidence but also benefited her career as an Executive Director. By overcoming her fear of public speaking, she has significantly reduced stress and embraced new opportunities with ease.
